I recently received my new 8130. Got everything installed correctly including all my games. I'm having one issue which I can't seem to solve. If I load up a game, such as Black Ops, and then adjust the volume using the Fn hotkeys, the OSD steals focus and drops me back to desktop. You know, the little blue visual indicator that appears in the upper left hand corner when any hotkey is pressed. Is there any way to disable these visual indicators so they don't interfere with my games? For now I'm forced to remove the hotkey app from the startup folder and only run it if I need to.

The solution I found is not installing those hotkey application.

The Fn + number hot keys will still work without any popups.

Hmmm, I'll have to check again. Without the hotkey app I was not able to toggle the wifi on and off. The volume and brightness were the only ones that I noticed still working. I found a recent thread on an alienware forum complaining about the same problem I'm experiencing.

Well, after checking again it seems the Fn toggles work without the need for the hotkey app. Thanks Rich, for helpin' out.
