So, I have the laptop you see in my signature and been playing BC2 for over 2 years but stopped some months ago. Everything was fine back then but now when I tried to play again, the GPU usage doesn't go above 50-60% which makes the game stutter like hell, even on the lowest settings. This only happens on MP, because on SP the game is silky smooth and GPU usage goes to 99%. I updated drivers, punkbuster, re-installed Windows, installed game from Origin and disk and it still happens. I remember I had this issue once but was fixed with a re-install. What may be causing this?

Also, I removed the OC GPU and still happens. Only with this game.

I would say its network related. Is your isp having packet loss issues?

Nop, isp is fine. Just on bag company this happens. May it be some broken component?

Sounds like the CPU might be maxing. Have you checked a CPU usage graph while playing? I would guess something was installed during that time that is running in the background.

What about other games, or other programs? Any other clues?

Oh, you might want to move this to the gaming forum section.

CPU never hits 100% according to Windows task manager. I did a fresh install of windows and drivers and still happens. Also other games are fine, like rising storm and whatnot.

I'll move the thread, thanks for heads up!
