You need to run proper diagnostics, get a GPU monitoring program (Like GPU-Z or MSI afterburner) along with a CPU monitoring program (like core temp) and have a look at what clocks and load levels each is experiencing.

The point is, while those numbers may mean nothing to you, they will tell us what is going on.

Without that info you are telling us your computer is broken and to fix it, without giving us the information needed to do it.

I fiigured out something very strange, if im in the game and it starts to lag, if I press ALT-TAB to get back into windows than ALT-TAB to get back to the game, the game will run again at 60FPS...once I stay in the game a little longer it drops back down...I feel like maybe its an appliation in the backround messing up the FPS...Maybe something is bothering the proper clocks the GPU should be at...

Normally at 70C my games would run fine even at 80C for the game to lag now at 70C doesnt make sense...can it be a virus?

It sounds like either the CPU or GPU temperature is going too high, but if you could post screenshots of the graphs when it happens we could tell you what is going on.

I had the same issue as you with my G73JH. Was great until recently I noticed the performance was just terrible all the time. Opened it up and I was able to peal off a layer of dust from the radiators. Very similar to when you remove the lint from the dryer.

Not saying this is the case with you, but doesn't hurt to either take a look at the radiator like I did, or what others probably do, just use an air spray can and blow it out.

But it was wierd because I never ever lagged at 70C.. anyways, I formatted the computer and now I am idle at 38C which is back to normal...I think I had a virus that was messing with the way the card was working...I am installing Skyrim again and hope that the problem is solved.

no i dont but i tried skyrim after formatting and it runs smooth now...Im pretty sure their was a application that was affecting the gpus performance and it was most likely a virus.
