I bought my Sager NP8660 earlier last year (around April 2009) and have had this problem since last summer.
Basically, the left button on the trackpad has no click to it, unlike the right button, which makes a nice solid click when you depress it. The left button, by comparison, just flexes when you click it. They both "work", registering clicks in Windows, but the left mouse button just doesn't click.
Sometimes, the button does click, but it doesn't affect the feel of the button at all. It still feels "flexy", and the click is a very soft, high-pitched click, as opposed to the defined, almost Macbook-like click of the right mouse button.
Is there any way to remove the case of the computer surrounding the touchpad and fix this problem?

service manual in my sig, but not recommended unless you have previous experience with this sort of thing.
