Hi guys I have a situation with my AMD 7970M

My drivers DVD for my Clevo P170 EM failed me, and I can't install my AMD 7970M with the drivers from clevo site(also mobility drivers from AMD webpage), I've tried several times before with the online drivers and it never worked so I always used the originals that came with the DVD.
I received my Clevo P170 EM on the 21st of May of 2012, and never made a bios update.
Did anyone had a similar problem that only the original drivers worked?? Last time I tried new drivers from Clevo website I did a system restore because once again they didn't worked, and my DVD failed, so system restore was the only solution.
    Help would be appreciated :)

    Thanks

Many have been able to update to the drivers directly from AMD with no issues.

You can try the ones from Sager Software Upgrade

Thanks for the link, I will try it out.

Tron what do you mean by enduro mode OP? I think that enduro can't be disabled in P170EM.

    By the way:

    bios revision is 1.00.04
    KDC/EC 1.00.04

    Thanks

I think from memory there is a function to enable/disable the 7970m and use intel gfx instead of the amd. This could be why the amd drivers keep failing.

    Good luck.

Are you able to get a more recent one to work now by updating over that Sager driver that's installed?

Yes try installing the latest over the top of the sager driver, make sure you don't remove the original set first.
