I have a Sager 3880 and I just replaced the keyboard after over a year of it being broken. I'm typing on it now and all of the keys seem to work except any key when i hold down the Fn (function) key. My main reason for even replacing it was so I could use the screen brighten function to see the screen better.

    Anyone know what's going on?

keyboards have firmware as well... maybe you need to update the KBC for that notebook.

Contact Sager support and they should be able to email any BIOS/firmware updates to you.

not drivers..... I am talking about BIOS and firmware... which is independent of drivers and such.

so contact Sager about your issue and they should email you BIOS and firmware updates that would hopefully fix your problem.

LOL....I found it out. For some retarded reason this new keyboard's function key is actually where the Ctrl key is...almost like they were flip flopped in the factory. Thanks anyways for the help :p
