    Hi,

yesterday my soundsystem workes fine to me with all 3 kabels plugget into my notebook. I browsed the realtek site an thinking about to update my realtek driver from 1.67 to 2.15
    ...
disconnect al plugs > deinstall the old driver and panel from system > restart my nb > install the new 2.15 driver and restart again > plug all connectors in > setup the hd audiomanager to same settins as before like 5.1 bass boost etc and start to chek the single channel by klicking on the speakers on screen and what yust happend to the front L/R? NOTHING all others work fine so I plugget the Front L/R in the pink jack and set it to the front and it works so the green jack seems to be disabled?! what reason can this be? the jack didn't look like damaged and the nb speakers turned off when i plug something in and the hd audio manager says to me that something is connected so the jak can't be broken?!... tried different drivers and updatet by the way all drivers on my notebook like chipset etc so aktually i'm back on the 1.67 realtek but same prob

someone know this problem and how to fix?

Yeah, I have the same problem. Had it for almost as long as I've had my NP5793. I haven't found a fix, but i did find that if the plug was not inserted all the way into the jack, I could get the jack to work properly. It's not my ideal, but I can live with it.

If someone does have a fix, please share :)
