Anyone experiencing problems with 9800gtx in the 9262? Everytime I run crysis when i get to the plane scene the screen turns black and in the bottom right corner a message appears saying drivers lost drivers found. When I launch oblivion when i get to charater creation it feels like its running at 2 fps and then in like 40 seconds my screen turns blue and it says dumping physical memory( I have 4 gb ram). Oh yah I only have the internet up and it says im using 1.57gb of ram is that normal? I really really hope somebody can help I want to play crysis real bad and I have seen people play crysis with an 8600 gt so why cant I ?
3Dmark06 score was 10612 or something in that area.
Far Cry Ultra high plays good.

Welcome to the NBR forums.
What OS are you using?
What drivers?
specs? -
vista x64 and Im about to try driver 178.13 moddified by dox
specs 2.8ghz quad, 9800m gtx, 4gb ram -
I recommend to try other drivers... preferably the Clevo drivers since they are official and should be stable.
From Sager:
176.09 for_Vista x64
Then I would make sure to have the latest updates for the each game.
And since you got a BSOD, I would do the following:
- get MemTest86+ and do a memory test to make sure that its not a memory error
- after a crash, its always good to do a CHKDSK C: /F (in Command Prompt)... in Vista, you must run right-click on Command Prompt shortcut and "Run as Administrator" -
i downloaded the 178.13 and now im past the plane scene but there is no video only audio. How do i get the video to show?

definitely sounds like a videocard driver issue.
You need to go into fully remove a driver before trying another.
- even if you have to go to SAfe Mode to uninstall the driver. -
After you've tried Gophn's advice, make sure you have the power profile set from balanced to High Performance. Make sure you have all the windows updates, and the crysis 1.2 patch.
If your getting 10k in 3DMark, it sounds like the card is functioning properly for the most part. Install vantage and see how that runs. You should get 5k+ in there.
Download GPU-Z and run crysis in window mode. Check the frequencies in GPU-Z as its running. Make sure you have background monitoring selected in GPU-Z. IF your clocks are running at 500/799 and its still getting 2-3fps, something is definetely wrong. At that point, I'd try a full OS reinstall. If your still having problems then, call up your manufacturer and see what they have to ofer. -
See if it works with the standard 178.13 modded inf from laptopvideo2go.
-
I downloaded GPU Z and during that scene the top one runs at 500 mhz and the other one ran at 799 mhz -
So it sounds like your running full clocks for sure then. I don't know what else could be causing it to perform like that. Those were all my ideas

There is a sticky at the top of this forum, so try those Clevo specific drivers (Dox`s).
Also, for updating drivers, click on the link in my sig, and go the the bottom, there are explanations for how to update them. -
definitely do a MemTest86+ and a HDtune.
Problems! 9800 gtx
