I've recently configured my P151EM to use Intel Rapid Start instead of hibernate.
I followed the instructions from the manual and everything installed as expected onto the Sandisk Extreme.

Now to test IRS, I set it to timeout after 1 minute. I press the power button to go to sleep and after a minute can see the SSD being written to for 2-3 seconds.

I unplug the power and battery and then returned the battery and pressed the power button. Nothing is displayed on screen for about 5 seconds and then the logon screen appears. This is definitely faster than hibernate both in writing and reading from the SSD.

Anyway, the problem at the moment is that after resuming both the Bluetooth and camera no longer are controllable using the fn keys. They are also not visible as a option in the hotkeys application.

But at least they are still working and not disabled.
