Hi is anyone having problems with the Killer N card in their NP9150?

I'm literally lying a few feet away from my router and the wireless connection cuts out constantly for several seconds or so. I'd have to change my whole living room setup and be forced to use an ethernet most of the time if I can't fix this as it's pretty unbearable.

The drivers came pre loaded so not sure what to do.

    Any advice?

Try changing the wireless channel on the router as well, test them one by one and see if you can locate one with better connectivity. Also make sure the wireless encryption is using WPA/WPA2, WEP doesn't work that well with MIMO.

I installed the stock driver and installed a new one from the Killer website and it seems great now.

Are there any other drivers that are necessary to install? I got this from Xotic PC and the drivers were pre-installed so I just assumed they were all up to date.

New drivers can be released at any time so it never hurts to check the manufactures site for any updates. You shouldnt have any other ones you need to install.
