Hi I have a P722 XMG laptop with 2x 680M GTX, Asus VG278H and Club 3D UltraAV DisplayPort a DVI Dual Link activ 330MHz Stereo Gaming cable.
When I plug the external monitor to the club3d adapter and to the laptop I go into the Nvidia control panel and try to get the screen from 60Hz to 120Hz and the screen goes nuts

Are you sure the USB port you are using is providing enough power?

You may need to look at power settings as notebooks typically unpower their ports if there is no data running on them.

It's a USB 2.0 power supply that is supplied with the adapter, so it's only going to draw the max mA that the 2.0 specification will provide - not the 3.0 port's max output. Meaker makes a good point about the power plan settings. :)

A USB2 port should be able to provide enough power though.
