I reinstalled windows 7 64 bit on a fresh reformat and now the wifi and webcam have stopped working. I can't install the driver off the CD that came with the laptop because it says they're powered off. Also when I use my Fn F11 shortcut key it doesn't turn wifi on (the blue icon flashes but its stuck at off) and the wifi led remains off, interestingly the Fn F12 for turning on bluetooth works fine.

    Any ideas?

Did you reinstall the hotkey drivers? The hotkeys may not work until you do. In which case, I'd try those and then see if enabling it with FN+F11 allows you to install the drivers. Also check in the Bios to make sure that the WiFi is set to enabled on powerup.

Oh, and try the new drivers from this thread instead of the ones from the disk.

Thanks for the response. I've tried installing the shortcut key software and the latest wlan drivers but no difference. Once the shortcut key drivers are installed all that happens is i see a blue off icon every time i press fn f11 but it never changes to off. Bluetooth works fine. When I look in the BIOS there doesnt seem to be an option for powering on/off WLAN just for Bluetooth...
