Hi everyone. Has anyone purchased or know of anyone who has purchased a Sager/Clevo from Prostar recently? I am considering making a purchase with them, but wanted to find out more about their reputation and customer service quality. Would you recommend them? Any details would be appreciated.

If folks don't recommend Prostar, I will go with Malibal or Gentech instead.

I personally haven't head anything about prostar on this board.

I'd recommend either Malibal or XoticPC.

I would also recommend Malibal or XoticPC.

I've personally had a great experience with Malibal, but I know XoticPC is great as well. You can't go wrong with either really, it just comes down to who fits you more I suppose.

I've bought a couple machines from Prostar. They run a class organization, and the customer service is top notch.

People telling you to look elsewhere have no idea. I'd rather deal directly with PS, than through a Sager reseller.

MAIBAL's price was about 275 dollars cheaper than anywhere else on the x7200 I purchased. Just got it today, great packaging (it would be hard to damage it the way they packed it) and awesome build quality.

    I am very pleased.

I didn't realize that I would get so many responses on this thread! Thanks to everyone for your feedback. After about five days of shopping around and 20+ resellers/retailers later, I decided to go with... MALIBAL!

They have been extremely patient and helpful in addressing my concerns before I ordered. Their replies via PM and on the forums are thoughtful and prompt (Xotic PC was the only other reseller that maintained excellent communication). Their website is easy to use and informative and the ordering process is straightforward. Their post-ordering followup is also great.

I can't wait to receive the laptop. I'm looking forward to writing a fantastic review for them.

As far as my experience with them has gone, yes.

The only reason I didn't buy my current machine from them was because, at the time, they weren't offering the premium screens for the 17.3" model, but they do now.

How much is shipping and brokerage to Canada from Prostar and Malibal?
