    Pretty self explanatory...

I have a Q9550S which is the lower TDP version of the quad 9550.. its a 65W TDP quad core processor.

Was wondering if it would work in the NP8662... and where exactly the processor was on the motherboard.

    Anyone know? Anyone try it?

    Thanks

    No, mobile CPUs only.

CPU is to the left of the heatsink.

Welcome to the NBR forums. :)

the Clevo M860TU/ETU only uses mobile Socket P (Centrino 2) processors.

the only notebook that uses desktop LGA775 quad-core CPUs is the Clevo D901C (aka. Sager 9262).
