    That seems quite weird, especially if the Q9550 is only clocked @ 2.83GHz and it is getting a higher score than a 3GHz, higher end processor. Maybe it is a typo or something.

    Its not, other benchmarks show that its not. IMO passmark seems to be a horrible way to compare different cpus.

    in the good CPU multi-threaded benchmarks like wPrime, the Q9650 does better.
