I just got my NP9262 yesterday. I thought it was supposed to be the updated D901C mainboard. I just ran CPU-Z and when I look under the tab for "Mainboard", it says:

    Manufacturer: Clevo
    Model: D900C Revision D
    Chipset: Intel P965/G965 Rev: C2
    Southbridge: 8280 1HB/HR (ICH8/R)

So do I have a D901C like I thought I was getting or do I have the D900C mainboard?

The only difference between the d900c and d901c is the colour, 900=blue, 901=grey.

Look at the clevo guide for the numbering system

Edit: OK, looks like it's not on the guide any more (sure it was there before...)

I wouldn't worry about it. The difference is solely in the exterior color, and not the interior performance.

    Same notebook.

The numbering system is still there, just the image hosted on imageshack sometimes does not come up for some people.

And I even went over it on the D900C section about the colors.

Cool.....thank you. I didn't realize that number meant color.
