Sager used to sell systems with an IPS panel or one that wasn't IPS but had very high gamut coverage. They apparently stopped selling them at some point.

I may end up with a machine that's about a year old. Its screen was described to me as follows:

Does anyone know what kind of panel this is?

    Thanks.

EDIT: Never mind, I was just told it isn't the high-gamut screen. :(

There was a bit where they were subbing in 72% panels in place of the standard which is typically around 60%. I definitely have no complaints on their default screen but the 72% was definitely a nice bump when you got it. They do this still time to time depending on the availability of their on-hand stock and incoming shipments.

The high gamut display is the AUO v4 15.6" display. If you could source it yourself it can be fitted but they are getting harder to find. They have not offered ips displays in the 15 or 17 inch pxxx series machines yet.
