    Hello there,

I've been lurking around alot looking for my first laptop purchase and one of the things I'm not sure to adress is the following.

I'm currently living in the Netherlands, and by looking at xotic PC and then looking at a Dutch retailer/reseller, there is a price of around ~400 ish dollars for the same system configuration, so naturally I'm leaning towards ordering my system from xotic pc ( usa right ? )

Now here's the problem, we use different power volting and plugs ( as far as i know ) So my question is if I ordered a laptop from xotic pc would they fit/choose the ac adapter with the right plug for my country or would I some how have to find/buy my own separately?

there shouldn't be a problem as i think the adapter is 110-220v variable, the only thing u would need is a plug adapter which u can get from any store for very few dollar ..... :)

Most AC adapters nowadays are made to be usable worldwide. That is, they have electrical specs that allow them to be plugged in almost everywhere. To make sure that it is the case for the Netherlands, you should check what the specs are there and check with XoticPC. I'm sure one of their tech can tell you what the specs of the AC adapter sold with the computer you want are.

You will most likely only have to take care of the physical connection between the AC adapter and your wall socket. I bought a Sager from PowerNotebooks which came with plug for North America and also one for some Asian countries (among them, India). But that was all. Probably neither plug format would be helpful in your case.
