Edit: The title was supposed to read 5760 at the end.

I know that the RAM that can be configured to be 2GB of 677Mhz in dual channel, but I also know that the lat is 5 (which is quite high). My question is that if I decide to buy lower Latency RAM, will I see a significant performance boost, or should I stick with the included RAM (for gaming and normal computing).

I have heard stories about the TV Tuner getting very hot. Is this true, and what resolution does the TV Tuner play back shows at?

Finally, Does the included 100GB 7.2krpm HD have an 8MB cache and NCQ? And is the HD made by Segate or Hitchai?

    Thanks in advance!!

I doubt you will see a difference between CAS 4 and CAS 5 latency. I've only see one DDR2-667 chip that has a CAS of 4 on Newegg, and I don't think anyone has figured out whether it was a typo or not. Either way, I wouldn't worry about it. If you get the RAM from Sager, it will be covered under warranty.

There's no gurantee what make the HDD it will be - it comes with whatever was in stock at the time. Yes, they have an 8MB cache and NCQ.

My hard drive is a Hitachi.
But both Hitachi and Seagate make excellent notebook hard drives. So you shouldn't worry about it.
