    Hey guys,

I just today came across a sager 5120 at work. I decided since we werent using it anymore Id take it home to service it. The one thing Im having a problem with is the CMOS battery.

90% sure its totaly dead. I have opened up all available compartments and cant find it, unless its under the cpu fan/heat sink. If someone that owns/owned one of these oldies could help me out by tellin me where exactly it is located I would appreciate it GREATLY. The laptop is still open on my desk at this very moment, and Id like to get it back together and continue working on it ASAP.

    Thank you in advance guys!

This is where it is on an older model. It's probably there on your model too.

Flip up the keyboard. Remove the CD Rom drive. It should be there. It's a smallish battery approx 15mm in dia.
