    Hi
I might be buying a Clevo P375, which has a free mSATA slot.

Is it really as easy as buying for example Intel 525 Series mSATA 120GB, and then just click it into the slot? just as with RAM ?

    Thanks :)

I don't have that exact model, but it depends on the laptop casing, if it's easy to get to the mSATA slot, then yes it is pretty much. You would just slip it in. Also depending on the model laptop, it may just click in, or you may need to screw it to the board. There usually is one mounting point (screw point) right around the mSATA slot for this. You can't really miss it. But I have read of some laptop makers having the slid in and click method like ram would be as well. Needless to say it's pretty easy to put in an mSATA SSD, just depends on how accessible the manufacturer made it. (Clevos are usually very friendly about this, unlike my Asus G46, which requires almost a full disassemble to do so, which is why I haven't put in an mSATA drive into it.

If this helped please rep me! :) J/K But I wouldn't mind +rep. lol

Hello, I was planning on buying a P150SM from hawkforce.de

    LUNA2 P150SM - HawkForce - Best Mobile Solution

I see they only offer 1 mSATA slot, just noticed when I rechecked. I would be ordering it with a 8970M. I emailed the reseller, which is very nice and communicative, to ask him if he could tell me the motherboard revision on their laptops. Hope they dont have tha faulty ones :SS. Will keep you updated. What do you guys think?

EDIT 1: Well took a better look, and saw this:

    mSATA SSDs
    SSD 128GB Crucial M4 mSATA III + 119,00 EUR
    SSD 256GB Crucial M4 mSATA III + 199,00 EUR
    SSD 128GB + 128GB Crucial M4 mSATA III + 229,00 EUR
    SSD 128GB + 256GB Crucial M4 mSATA III + 299,00 EUR
    SSD 256GB + 256GB Crucial M4 mSATA III + 379,00 EUR

As you can see, they offer single and DUAL SSDs on mSATA, all Crucial. Hmmm....

They will need to check, it's possible they just have not updated their listings but this is why sager re-badged their machines so it was clear.
