So my system specs are as follows:
Intel E6700 (2.66 Ghz)
2 GB DDR2 RAM
2 x 7950's (SLI)
Windows Vista Ultimate (32-bit)
2 x 100 GB hard drives (raid-0)
When I originally got the machine, I had 64-bit installed. Put the 163.44 drivers on and they were a no go. I tried various driver revisions and couldn't get any sort of decent SLI performance. So, I installed 32-bit and reinstalled all drivers. Started with the 163.44's and it runs fine on a single card but when I enable SLI, I get horizontal black lines running up and down the screen. I also had this when I had 64-bit installed, although the performance on a single card is better and smoother in 32-bit than in 64. I have tried changing the SLI setting (AFR1, AFR2, Split-Frame) and still the same result.
I know the drivers are beta, so I was just curious if there were any non-beta drivers that support SLI that anyone can recommend. Also, has anyone encountered similar issues where they couldn't get any of the drivers to run SLI? Any suggestions on any tweaks and such that might help? I also tried oc'ing just a tad to see if there was any difference.
I am guessing that I'm just going to have to wait for a good, solid set of drivers to come out.

New drivers where release on clevo s site for vista 64, i d recommend using those. Have speed up bioshock tremendeously!! Night and day kind of thing

Vista SLI support is still beta as far as I know. It might take some tweaking to get it to work properly

I tried the new Clevo drivers on their site when I had 64-bit installed, and got sub-par performance.
I figured that it's going to still take a lot of tweaing since they are in beta, as just curious what other experiences other people have had -
Hell, I have XP SLI and I still only know of two drivers that work fully with no problems. 165.01 & stock. Everything else doesn't support mobile SLI, or isnt stable, or, or, or, or... And Bioshock just plain doesnt support SLI right now. My machine pulls FPS in the mid 20's in Bioshock, no matter the resolution, even with vsync off.

The new Clevo driver was release Aug 31st. That's last week friday... so I give that a go. Someone else verified (per another thread) that SLI is working in Vista with the new drivers.

Surprisingly enough, I get great performance in Bioshock on one card. I didn't actually check FPS, but next time I play I will. However, it ran smooth as silk without any stuttering, at 1900x1200 at the default settings the demo runs at.
I'll keep my eye out for new drivers and keep trying. Thanks for the input! -
Yeah, I haven't noticed any performance issues with BioShock on one card, just crippling crash issues.

I haven't had the unfortunate experience (yet) of crashes while playing Bioshock...of course, I get other weird Windows crashes, so I guess that makes up for it
