oh, so u have more than just 2 sata ports and ure trying to figure out which ones are 1&2?

well thats easy :) choose one hard drive, plug it into one of the ports, check the connection using crystaldiskinfo. repeat with the other ports and note all their connection speeds ;)

Both of those are SATA III, the ones that are II are where the optical drive connects and the hard drive bay under that.

20 -> this conector is SATA II , but the connector on mainboard is SATA III

if i put a ssd (19) SATA III in the bay 19, will have a transfer rate of SATA 3, or if it through sata II connector low tnasfer rate ???

    how I can solve it?

Thanks everyone, I am learning a lot ... sorry for my English and my little computer knowledge

The adapter there is just a rewiring of the connector so it should not affect the speed of the connector, if it attaches to the top of the PCB it's sata III, it it's connected to the one under then it's sata 2 for the bays.

    I don't understand.
Both hard drive bays support SATA-3 natively.
What are you trying to do?
There is no need to change anything, no need to buy any cables and stuff.

I really don't understand the idea.

The provided connectors are all that you can use since they are specially designed for that board, they should let you use the full speed that the ports are capable off.

Remember only 2 ports in the entire machine will be SATA3.

in the first time, hello from Spain and thanks for the help ( and apologize for my english again )....

    INTEL SSD 320 Series 120GB 9.5MM 2.5IN G3-MLC 25NM sata II

    raid 0 hdd 500GB 7200rpm 2,5"

    ...etc

i called the reseller to change the ssd by one of more size and sata 3, and he told me that my laptop only have sata II.....

I opened a topic in forums and through, jaybee83 AND hutsady (thanks a lot) i discover that if I had got sata 3...

The SATA-2 and SATA-3 ports look the same :D
Both hard drive bays have SATA-3 ports.
Just install the SSD in one of those places and you will have SATA-3 speeds!

    Simple!

Have not tried it yet because I don´t buy this yet ..

many crises in Spain ... hehehe ..

and I want to be sure, because if no sata 3, maybe I'm interested in a raid 0 of sata II ssd, to achieve a similar transfer rate like sata 3, but also I have doubts because the intel chipset family 6 not supported raid trim..
