My laptop ac adapter has kicked the bucket. I was just wondering if this one will work. It seems to have the right tip and right voltage. Or if there may be another option for me to pick up in a store? I live in Toronto Ontario.

The specifications say yes, however how good the supply is and what safety/efficiency standards it meets are unknown.

Yep, looks like it's a match (as long as the barrel is the right size for the DC jack) - but like Meaker said, you take a chance on quality with those aftermarket adapters.

If you reach out to the seller where your computer was originally purchased, they should be able to get you the one for your model. Or possibly you could get it from another Clevo reseller.

You might be able to look around at local stores, but from what I've seen in stores before, the AC adapters would still be a third party one as well. And most AC adapters I've seen are universal power supplies that are ~100w or less. They are usually for your typical laptop, not the higher powered systems. But it couldn't hurt to maybe call a couple places in your area. At least you might be able to physically compare it before buying one if you can find a seller nearby.
