Hi, this is a question directed at the people who own a Clevo W860CU or Malibal Lotus series laptop.
I just got my Clevo W860CU from Malibal (the one with the power button on the side) and there are 2 things that I find odd (not big problems) about this laptop.
When on Battery power, booting up the laptop with the power button seems strangly difficult. when I just push it the lights in the hotkey area just flashes and dies out and the machine doesnt turn on, it seems as though the laptop is out of batteries and it just shuts down right as i turn it on. In order to turn it on I have to hold the power button. Ive never had a laptop that did this.

The other problem is the performance on battery power. I noticed this when gaming. When i pull the AC to discharge the batteries after being fully charged I notice that programs seem to run slower, even on high performance power option. In the power options for high performance the CPU is set to run at 100% on batteries. This doesnt seem to be the case on my old laptops.

Just curious to see if this is normal for sager/clevo laptops.
