Does the Sager 151HM1/150HM use the regular BIOS or the new UEFI?

If the Sagers are still using the older BIOS, would we expect them to use the UEFI in the next refresh models?

Reason why I'm asking is because I've heard stories about the UEFI booting up faster than the older BIOS by about 50%. I shut down my desktop computer very regularly if I'm know I won't use it for a few hours. I will most likely do the same when I get a notebook. I don't like hyb/sleep because sometimes windows has problems waking up and I'll have to hard reset the computer.

it is using a conventional bios - it takes +/- 10 sec to start booting the OS.

Thanks, emphyrio for the fast response.

The post time is much faster than my desktop (very old computer). Was hoping that they would start using UEFI like they do on the new desktop computers or enhanced boot the Lenovo laptops (boot into windows in 10sec).
