I have some questions for the Clevo P750DM2 owners out there. I am considering the P750DM2 with a 1070 and FHD panel for my business needs. Half of the time, I will be tethered to the wall but the other half, I will be using this computer (unlike my P870DM3) on the go.

The first group of questions is in regard to the panels. Is the FHD panel any good? Is it rated at 60hz or higher? What about the 4K panel? How's the color? If you have the 4K panel, have you lowered the resolution to FHD and if you have, how does it look?

How's the battery life? I know I won't get 8 to 10 hours, but can I get at least 3 hours on a full charge with basic computing tasks (showing a presentation, quick changes to app/compiling and etc)?

It's a 60 Hz panel, the LG one at least. They've been said to be pretty decent in colour reproduction and don't look half-bad at all.

3 hours... probably possible but difficult without some tinkering at the very start.

Thanks for the answer. The FHD panel will help with battery life but 60hz does suck, honestly. Whereas, the 4K screen will be better but will draw more power. This is going to be a hard decision.

IMO, FHD >> QHD/UHD. And far as I know these screens don't OC well.

At 4k it's not a matter if the panel. More so of the bandwidth limit.

I'll have to check what model it is but the HD panel I just removed from my P775DM3-G ran at 75Hz. Just replaced it with the 'AUO B173ZAN01.1 17.3" Matte 4K IPS LED Widescreen (3840x2160)' screen, which is only 60Hz, but looks very nice. I run it at UHD and in Win 10 just have the desktop scaling turned up. I don't particularly need a screen that does more than 60Hz for video editing so saw no point in trying to source one.

It will vary by the exact panel and seller as to the stock Hz of the 1080p screens.
