    Hi all
Got a few questions about it:

    1. How hot is the hand wrist area under normal operation (like coding, typing, browsing) in a summer day say? Does it get hot? I'm planning on working on it for 7.5 hours a day as a work computer doing mostly software development. The XPS 1530 hand wrist area was HOT which I could not bear. I think it was mainly due to the HD being right there and the aluminum surface too. Is the 7680 better in this department?
    2. 9300GS GPU - is this one of the NVidia's faulty GPU batch (like the 84xx 86xx) which Dell and others have lots of issues with? I don't do much gaming so I don't care about its performance that much, but I do care about its longevity.
    3. How is the WSXGA+ screen in terms of color bleeding, crispness, color reproduction, viewing angles, screen graininess? What's the manufacturer for this LCD? Model # for the LCD? I noticed there has been posts about screen graininess on other Sager lappys.
    4. How does the warranty work if I live in Canada? Say I my computer doesn't power up one day? What's the process to get somebody to look at it? Response time? Downtime?
    5. How long does it actually take to get one after you put in the order?
Thanks and I appreciate any opinions in advance!

    1) This is a entry-level dedicated graphics notebook, it wont give off that much heat.
    2) the 9300M GPUs have not shown any issues in the notebook that have them.
    3) Clevo notebooks are usually equipped with good LG Philips LCD panels
    4) If you are in Canada, the warranty is still covered by the vendor, but have you looked at Canadian Clevo vendors?
    .... www.eurocom.com
.... or even www.pro-star.com (which has nice Canadian shipping packages)
    5) units are usually built immediately after the payment is cleared... the shipment will be determined by your choice of carrier.

    Thanks for the reply.
    w.r.t question 4.
Do I have to send my laptop to the vendor to have it looked after? or is there a local authorized repair shop?
Can Canadian dealers price match XoticPC for example?

    w.r.t question 5:
What does that translate to? 2 weeks? 3 weeks? 2 months?

You will only have to send in the full unit if support determines that it needs to be. If its a small issue they can walk you through fixes, and even send you new parts to swap out if needed.

    Actually, yes.

You must contact Eurocom (phone is usually best) and negotiate the price of the same notebook from quote of other vendors (like XoticPC)... make sure to convert the prices to CAD.

I have personally looked and tested the 7680, its pretty sturdy and a business style notebook.

Not for high-end gaming, but pretty rock solid for normal tasks and light gaming.
