Hi guys! I have a 2010 15" macbook pro and I'm thinking about selling it and going with this Sager. I have a few questions though!

1.) How portable is this thing? I will be taking it back and forth to class. I don't mind if it's a little on the big side but the NP9130 looks huge so it makes me worried this thing will be big too. I care about size, not weight.

2.) How is the webcam on this? I read a review and that person says there is no brightness adjustment. Even so, is the camera quality worse than my macbook?

3.) Can anyone tell me how hot this thing gets during gaming? My macbook gets around 85C under full load.

4.) Lastly, is it worth it to pay $70 more to upgrade the i5 3210m to the i7 3610QM? I know the i7 will drain the battery more so it may be not worth it, but does it make that much of a difference while gaming?

Thanks guys! Looking forward to getting rid of my macbook and hopefully getting this Sager! Excited for the upgrade from a 330m to a 650m

The NP6165 dimensions are 14.72" (w) x 9.84" (d) x 0.64"-1.63" (h) for the most 15.6" computers you'll find similar height and depth but the thickness changes for the gaming models (NP950) the NP6165 is pretty thin for its size.

The built in webcam isnt great, if you're looking for a very good quality you'll want an external USB one.

Temps on the 650M will be around what you're seeing on your MBP, 80-85C underload.

Yes I always suggest getting an i7 over an i5, the main reason is its a quad core vs a dual core. Multi-tasking, many programs, and even games are coded to take advantage of the multi cores and run better with it. The downfall is that 4 cores takes more power to run then 2 cores so you'll lose some battery life. But in my opinion the performance gain outweighs the loss of battery life.

Hope to see you joining the Sager familiy!
