I was wondering what refresh rate this laptop has. I know it supports g sync but I can't seem to find an exact number.

The panels which support G-Sync in the models mentioend are officiallt rated at 60Hz. Not all 60Hz panels support G-Sync but the ones that do will usually support higher than 60Hz when G-Sync is running. Officially G-Sync works up to 75Hz but this refresh rate isn't a requirement of G-Sync support - it's designed to provide a smoother graphical experience under 60FPS and the ability for the panel to match the application FPS under 60Hz is the main pre-requisite for Nvidia to approve a panel as supporting G-Sync.

Can anyone with a P670RS-G please try enabling MSHYBRID graphics option (via bios or hot key control centre), restart, login to windows and then shut down.

For some reason when MSHYBRID is enabled for me, my laptop will never shut down.
DISCREET on the other hand shuts down fine.

It just sits there in limbo with the CPU and GFX fans pumping, keyboard illuminated and screen(s) off.

I've tried multiple restarts, unplugging all USB devices, unplugging other displays, latest intel graphics drivers, latest nvidia drivers =\

Hi. I just got my p670rs.
In my hybrid mode the panel was locked to 60Hz and no panel of was allowed screen tearing was tremendous in eg witcher 3. Shutting down was no issue for me.
Changing to discret mode the panel is immediately locked to 75hz after a restart. Then you can also apply custom resolutions and refresh rates through the nvidia control panel. I was able to go to 100hz (110Hz did not work). But I have not kept it yet as I am happy with 75hz for now.
My panel seems quite nice with no noticeable screen bleeds or other issues so I guess I am lucky
    Hope that helps.
