I ordered a Sager MP5796 and now I'm shopping around for a laptop cooler and laptop bag.

In terms of the cooler - I've noticed that many people in this forum like the Zalman 2000c cooler. Does anyone with a 57xx own this cooler? How do its fans/vents line up with the fans/vents on the 57xx? What's your opinion on this cooler? The other cooler I've been looking at is the NZXT Cryo LX. Again does anyone with a 57xx own this cooler? How do it fans/vents line up with the fans/vents on the 57xx? What's your opinion on this cooler?

With the laptop bag - I'm looking mostly at the higher end ones with seperable protective case and bag. The main two I'm considering are the Spire M E T A (which worries me since it's 5lb empty and might be a bit larger than I'm looking for) and the Tom Bihn Super Ego. Anyone have any experience with either bag? Do you use any other case/bag combo for you 57xx? I'm also interested in what bags people use for the 57xx in general.

I have the Zalman NC 2000 with my 5793. The vents line up quite well, especially for the GPU fan.

    I second the Zalman NC 2000 with a 5796.

Cool - nice to know that the vents line up well with the Zalman NC2000 - guess I'll be ordering one soon.

Anyone have any input on bags and sleeves?

    I also use the Zalman NC2000 - it's fabulous.

For bags, I use a Spire messenger bag (Mojo). They also make great backpacks for laptops.

I'm in the same exact boat as you slayn. I just ordered my 5796 and need to get a new backpack along with it for college. I don't really want to spend more than 200 dollars either. So far all i've really found is the **** by spire, the politian by ogio, and any of the booq backpacks(although those are pretty much out of my price range)

Does a cooler really do much for you? I've always thought they were for suckers because your fans are pushing air out and the coolers(most of the time) attempt to push air back into your laptop with their fans. So at least to me that seems like it's actually worsening the problem. Even if the fans were in line with the current ones and spun in the correct direction, drawing air out of the laptop with the fans in it, i find it hard to believe it would do that much. can anyone tell me differently? Thanks, since now i'm sorta considering buying one also.

Got this Targus 17" notebook backpack from best buy for about $75. It has a ton of room, is well padded, and makes the weight of my 5793, charger, mouse, and even external keyboard if I feel like taking it, very manageable. Plus, when it's loaded up with all that, there's plenty of space left for books.

Slappa Velocity bags are pretty good to, there have been a couple of reviews done.
