What is the "best" GPU I can get in a 15.6" laptop?

Will there be any Ryzen 4xxx desktop processors added to the line up?

I don't want to buy a system with a Ryzen 3xxx series and later on upgrade to the 4xxx series.

Do you think that the Ryzen line will be on par or better than the desktop Intel processor offerings?

If you have information about either of those first 2 questions, please provide links if any.

The Ryzen vs. K processors is a personal opinion and I would like to hear your take on them.

For 1) If you're talking about Max-P GPUs, the best you can get is a RTX 2070 Super (max TDP is 115W) for a new Clevo laptop in the PB51DF2. Otherwise you can get the RTX 2080 Super Max-Q in the PC50DN2

The P750TM-R uses Max-P MXM GPUs, but the abovementioned laptops are also good options if you don't care about upgradeability.

Damn, I was hoping they would be making a 17 inch variant. Maybe when the new stuff hits.

The current Clevo NH5#A variants bearing different badges around the world is considerably the finest build it can be. The upgradability to 4000series is consider a bonus to the B450 system it can be. Unless the refresh is refreshed with B550 that takes 4000series CPUs and can be future upgradeable to 5000series next yr...

I wouldn’t count on it anytime soon. Manufacturers are definitely seeing if what they have out their sells. So 2021 will likely be the year we start to see some more Ryzen cpu machines pop up. I’d very much appreciate a laptop like the Clevo X170 with a Ryzen CPU. So fingers crossed it happens.

I was hoping for a mega screen as well... Maybe narrower bezel, saving extra diagonal length to fit a probably 18inch screen?

yea, it looks like a great laptop, and to be honest I'll probably grab something with the R4000 series and sit on that till my next cycle. I just want something with a bigger screen and thermals and the top end GPU, as i use my laptop as a portable desktop so the extra size and thermals helps.

Yea, I want to see something with the top end chips available, Hopefully we dont have to wait that long, but with insane sales and wait times for the new ryzen books it appears the writing is on the walls, now hopefully we start seeing them with the bigger GPU's rather than 2060's and a scant few with 2070's/

Yea, that would be great, the only issue is the 18 inch screen is unfeasable due to its odd size, the MSI GT 8X series was a showcase of that. there is only one panel being made for 18 inches and its pretty ok, mine overclocked to about 94Htz but it wont be blowing anyone away anytime soon with how it looks.

Personally id like to see a thin bezel 17.5inch screen but give me the option of like 120-240htz and HDR /w adaptive sync instead of blowing it out with a 4k panel that just does 4k

Or a similar model to now based around the desktop APU, should then get decent battery life.
