I'm looking at 2 new Sager models. The NP7255 (Clevo N155RD), and the NP5652 (Clevo W650RC). I have two questions pertaining to these guys, as they seem like amazing deals.
1) How's the build quality? I could only find that these two are "rubberized." I hate cheap, flexible plastic feel. Does Sager typically have solid build quality? (Minimal flex, feels premium, no gaps, etc.) This is by far my biggest concern.
2) The NP5652 is list as 0.55 ~ 1.24" for thickness. That's a huge gap, and some pictures make it seem absurdly thick, while others seem super nice and thin. Is it typically on the low end, high end, or somewhere in between?
If it matters, I'd be getting the 5652 with the 6700HQ, 950M, 16gb RAM, and a 500gb SSD.
Thanks in advance!

They have a soft-touch plastic, which is what they mean by "rubberized". The build quality is decent (I have the N150SD), though the lid could be a bit sturdier, as could the screen hinges. It doesn't exhibit much flex or creakiness, but it isn't a premium, solidly built machine like, say, a ThinkPad.

I see you've owned an MSI. How would you say the build quality between the two companies stack up? -

Usually the numbers are the thinnest point and thickest point, when closed. It might be just the thickness at the thinnest point for the .55, and not so much of a standing height from a flat surface.
But yes, the pictures taken are always hard to gauge how thick it is. Some of the angles of the marketing photos will show it top down, slightly from the side, and it makes it hard to tell how thick the base of it is.
