This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    just quick question, im about to order from xoticpc.com but im at where it says enter credit card... do they accept AMEX? if not then i'll have to change resellers :(

    They say they do, and they do so far as I know - only way to tell for sure is to give it a try (that, or call them up on the phone :D).

    Go for it. I used my Discover Card to buy mine from Sager's website. It may not be AMEX, but it sure is in the same class of credit cards.

    Amex rules the world as far as customer service and perks.

    Don't forget that Amex doubles the manufacturers warranty on anything you buy with your Amex card.

    Justin from xoticpc specifically let me know that if I wanted to double my warranty, I could buy from American Express. This would imply that yes they do take it.
