Quick question, but long explanation! :D

Right guys, here is the problem, NP9260 SLI 7950GTX, almost 3 years old was running clean and beautifull till this damn week!

Running windows 7, the damn OS stucks in the middle of internet surfing.
I turned it of, went to take a nap, when i come back the mofo screen is all full of those artifacts. My first thought, damn video card got ed up, but i have the second one and i need just to find out which one is going to the trash can. After all the performance impact on my games aren´t going to be huge causa of this loss.

Well after trying to swich them places, the PC wouldn´t boot, ok fine, but WTH?!?! Leave just one in the Slot A, it boots whit the artifacts on screen, good found the "bad" card. Put the "Good" one in the slot A no BOOT why the hell.

I am stuck, can you guys gimme some light on this one? Why is the bios not recognizing it? is the "good" card actually the bad one or am i missing something here? :(

The card that won't boot in slot A, was it originally in the B slot?

I believe its not booting because that cards vbios is flashed as a slave card. This usually results in the card only working when in the b slot and paired with a primary card.

Right, thought about something with the Card´s bios too, so i will need to boot with the 2 cards and flash the slave card right?
I belive i can find the bios here rather ease, right?
any other mods maybe that i can aply to improve the card a bit too?
    Maybe an improved bios version?

I know that Sager does not make the VBIOS public (they don't even give it to us to pass out - our technicians have to send customers directly to Sager). I assume this is a Sager-branded system, since you mentioned it being an NP9260. If your computer is a Sager-branded system, you can email [email protected] to request the VBIOS. If it is not Sager-branded, contact your reseller to see if they can requisition the VBIOS for you.
