Hi, I'm interested in getting a Clevo laptop a few months later and I've checked the Clevo guide for the resellers info. I found that "R & J Tech" have the best price out of them so far but I've a question about that company. I live in Adelaide, Australia and I know "R & J Tech" will sell laptops internationally.

If I really bought the laptop from them and there are problems, what do I need to do? Do I need to ship the laptop back to them in the US or is there a service centre somewhere else? Thanks.

I would highly recommend to contact them directly, you can email, but a call would be even better.

Usually, one would have to ship it back to their vendor, however, if you contact them, you can ask if they would cover shipping costs under their warranty policy... some resellers would if you get an extended warranty, but you should ask to really know.

Tell us the detail when you get your questions answered.

I sent an email and got a reply from them.

"Yes, we do ship it internationally.

You need to send it back here for the warranty repair, and you need to pay
    both way shipping.

Just let me know if you have any questions.

I think repairing it in local shops are better than paying the shipping cost back to The US which cost USD 200++ for ONE way. Just bring to a notebook specialist.
    An example would be
    http://www.bpcomputers.com.au/
See the way they mention , WE REPAIR ALL COMPUTERS :D

Thanks for the suggestion. :) That is definitely better than sending back to US. Do you know any other ones which are located in Adelaide, Australia so that I don't need to ship the laptop around? Thanks.

Be carefull about repairs. I called a local notebook store in Orlando Florida and they said they could get me a Sager but they couldn't repair it and would have to send it back to Sager for warranty repairs. I know RJ tech sells barebones that aren't branded with the Sager or Prostar names.
