My NP9262 came with two 500GB hard drives in a RAID 1 (Data Backup) and I would like it to be set up in a RAID 0 for gaming and such. The thing is my computer has been running like this for about a month and I am not sure if I can just switch it and not lose anything because I dont feel like re-installing everything. I am hoping its just as easy as reformatting the other drive after I switch it over. I tried to search but I am in Iraq and have a time limit on the internet and couldnt find what I was looking for within a reasonable amount of time, sorry if its been posted before. Thank you guys so much.

    you cannot switch that easily.

the best way is to image (using Ghost, Acronis, or etc.) the stuff you have on your array to an external HDD.

then create a RAID-0 array, and "ghost" the image that you saved back onto the new array.
