    Hi everyone,

SoI am pretty sure this was asked before but I couldn't find it in the forums... maybe I'm blind or not looking at the correct places...

k so I have 8GB of ram in my NP8130.... and I was just playing Minecraft and suddenly it gave me a message saying that memory is too low. So I opened up the Task Manager. And it says:

    Total 8169
    Cached 3265
    Available 5533
    Free 2408

so I can see that it's not using all of the 8 gigz... how can I fix this so that it's detecting and using all 8GB???

BTW, I'm using 64 bit Windows 7 OS.

    Thanks,

The problem here is most likely your Java install. Are you running 64 bit Java? The 32 bit install doesn't handle memory allocation the same and that particular error message happens a lot.

However, I'd also suggest having a moderator move this to the Gaming forum because you'll likely get more relevent help there as it's most likely application/game issues.

    Hope this helps though.
