    Hi!!

Anyone knows the correct temps for melt the ATI GPU 4570 to de logic board
    of a Clevo M77cu?

I need try it because i received black screen, included external VGA db15 and 1 long beep then 2 short beeps in my Clevo M77cu.

The OS continue loading if i press F1 key to resume the stop by this event, but the sreen remains black.

    Anyone experience with ATI refow?
I can see lots of Nvidia reflows, but hard to find info about ATI GPUs

    THANKS

I dont think its card specific as it's based on the temp that solder melts which around 364F but that does vary depending on the type of solder used.

With Nvidia chips i read u have more temp error tolerance, and with ATI ther´re
some capacitors that if u dont dischargue before reball or reflow if contact other
pad dischargues the 5v dc that is the death of 3,3v chips. Thats why needs exact temps
    for preheat.

I read that leadfree soldering is 219Celsius, and death GPU aprox 105Celsius.

    THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION

The gpu 'death temp' you're talking about is more or less it's max operating temp. Not what you're worried about.. 219C is ~426F. That seems way too hot. You don't want your solder to all melt off, just heat up enough to move into the cracks..

You need to be in the ~190C range..

Edit: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1421792 thread from another forum where he baked a mobo to fix an integrated gpu..
