Well I have had my M570TU for several days, I've installed Vista Ultimate 64bit along with most of my everyday apps which includes several games such as Crysis, COD4, Undying, BIO Shock and The Witcher. Vista installed much quicker than it did on my HP and both have 2.5GHz CPU's and 4Gig ram.
Here are the M570TU specs
Core 2 Duo T9400 2.53GHz 6MB Cache
4 Gig DDR3 1066MHz memory
320 Gig WD 3200BEKT 7200RPM drive
2 Gig Intel Turbo Memory
1920x1200 display
nVidia 9800M GT
The rest is pretty standard. I am including some screen shots of HDTune, WPrime, Everest and 3DMark06 for reference. I also took some screen grabs of Crysis running (not full screen) with CPUID next to it for HDD and GPU temperature comparisons.
I must say, my experience with RJTech was short, sweet and to the point.
I placed an online order, received an email with my order number followed by another with a tracking number and lastly, a visit by Stan my UPS driver.
I did have to download the latest Intel Turbo Memory drivers(dated 8/8/08)
in order for it to work properly.
Unlike some other recent Clevo notebooks, the M570TU power supply does not have a fan.
Boxed with care.

you should run the crysis built in gpu benchmark and tell us the average fps of the best run instead of a real time pic viewing the rocks.
-
nice rig, congrats.
-
very nice zenica, glad you got what you wanted.
-
If you know how, tell me and I'll run it, then post the results. -
I do miss the 2nd HDD of the 901C but if I can get my esata TB drive to stay connected using the esata, I'll be happy. -
Crysis Benchmark Tool:

EDIT:
Scratch the above. I was trying to run it from the network drive, I copied it to the local drive and it is running right now. -
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin32
look in there and it will be a file called benchmark_gpu. simply run that and it's automatic from there on. -
Here are the results:
-
I don't have the slightest idea, is this good or bad FPS for Crysis?
-
Yes those are good fps for crysis, especially since you had AA on. If it was me though, I would up the resolution and drop the AA.
-
hmmm, so in a trade of FPS vs AA, you'd take FPS?
-
no I take a higher resolution instead of AA.
-
I did some reading on AA (Wikipedia) and I'll turn it off.
Overall, the M570TU seems quiet, doesn't run hot and is
easy enough to carry around.
Add another HDD and it's perfect! -
Anyways, the m570TU looks promising then -
I was very happy with the 901C that I had and I am very happy with
the M570TU. I think once my 2 HP's die, I'll be a Clevo buyer from now on, something I would not have considered without this forum.
