    got some questions .. my np8662 screen got issues so need to be RMA ed

    but the thing is that i have done stick some coppper for mod .. and even cut through a big hole at the backplate right below the HDD spot for better cooling..

    i wonder if i still had the warranty? afraid that i have void it :(

    In it's current state, the warranty is void. Remove the copper and purchase a spare backpanel to swap in before you send your notebook in for RMA.

    yeah sounds like warranty would be void due to the backplate. WHat's the coopermod for? Haven't heard of it for the NP8662. For use on GPU? any links to info on this?

    copper mod .... its not really a radical mod that makes the machine cannot be reverted to the original condition .... try searching this sager forum for information..

    guess that i have to find the spare backplate....didnt think that my sager would end up like this :(
