So I am attempting to undo my raid 0 and I thought I had done everything correctly except I can only still see 1 hdd. I did the following

    1. Reset disks to non raid via raid configuration
    2. Updated bios to turn off raid
    3. Reinstalled os

Was there a step I'm missing?

I know with pcs I have to set one as a "slave" drive, is there something like that I need to do with a laptop?

Did you already re-partition the second hard disk? Check Disk Management in Windows.

If it wasn't automatically done, no. I'll look in to it in a bit and get back with you. Thx
