I am trying to update with a bit more ram a a bit faster ram. I am trying to add Corsair Vengeance Performance 16GB DDR3L 1600MHz PC3 12800 Laptop Memory Kit CMSX16GX3M2B1600C9 to my laptop. It appears to support these ram modules as long as i do not put them in slot 0 (slot 0 being the slot farther form the motherboard accessible form the bottom by removing the fans). If i put them in slot 1 and 2 they work just fine and pass memtest 86+. I know that slot 0 is not bad because i can use one of my original memory chips in that slot while having the other 2 slots occupied by the new ram and passing mem test. If i do manage to get the screen on with the new ram in slot 0 memtest 86+ fails.
