The Ram and HDD are upgradeable on Sager Laptops. The WUXGA depends on your needs and somewhat on how good your eyesight is. The WUXGA will make things smaller on your desktop and give you more real estate on your desktop.

RAM and hard drive sizes are usually upgradeable, unless you max them out in the beginning.

No one NEEDS WUXGA...that is a personal choice one has to make. WUXGA is a very high resolution that some people find makes the image, particularly text, too small to work with while others wouldn't get anything but WUXGA because of all the screen real estate it gives them.

The best thing to do is get a resolution that is fairly close to what you use now.

Okay I think I will go ahead and get UXGA since I dont think that is upgradeable.

That is the highest resolution available, so it would not be upgradeable.

However please be careful because it could possibly be too high for your eye comfort. Have you ever worked with 1920x1200 or 1600x1200 screens?

    Two questions

If I get WSXGA will it be possible to upgrade in the future?

What is the most common resolution people are ordering there notebooks with?

I ordered mine with WUXGA (1920x1200) and I love it. The text is not too small to read and gaming resolution is so high that I personally think AA is not necessary. Although as previously mentioned, screen resolution seems to be a personal choice, much the same as some prefer glossy screens to matte, or vice versa

I've decided to go with the 1920x1200 that way I can play full 1080p movies on my external Blu Ray Drive

You could change your screen in the future, but it doesn't really make sense to end up buying 2 screens over time. The best thing to do if find the right resolution for your eye comfort and go with that. You might want to look at some friends screens, or go to a store to look at the different resolutions, although it may be hard to find a WUXGA screen in stores...but you have to SEE them to be able to make the right choice...you can't ask others to make it for you, and going with the "...most common resolution..." won't necessarily work for you. They are pretty much split anyway without either one being significantly dominate over the other.

Bottom line is you need to see the different resolutions before you can make the decision about which one is best for you.

Cool, my eyesite is 20/20 so yeah, I really think UXGA is for me.
