For some reason the power scheme manager is all locked off. What i mean by this is that under the power options properties, under the power scheme tab, the power scheme selection menu is blanked out, no scheme is selected, and i can't change it. So what can i do to fix it?

I've restarted a few times. Took out the battery, plugged it back in. Not sure what to do..

edit: Running xp, there was no bios change, this just happened right after screen powered down.
