I'm curious to know if your Clevo/Sager shipped with a receipt of purchase in box?

It's good to have but I didn't receive one in the past.

If not a physical receipt, then maybe a digital one with your reseller? Like a record on your account?

Yep. Only got the digital copy (online account record) but it would be great if resellers shipped a printed copy as well because its nice to have a hard copy if you are planning to upgrade in the future and decide selling on Ebay, CL etc.

XoticPC gives a physical and a digital copy, I can affirm that (or, at least, that's what I got). I don't know about any other Reseller though, Malibal is cheapest and I may be trying them next year when I upgrade, hopefully the 680M (or maybe it'll be the 780M & be kepler) 28nm GPUs come out, but I can't of course say what I got from now ;)

Odd. My reseller was XoticPc as well. I didn't receive a physically receipt for my first unit from them... only via web account (digital). I thought that was normal and didnt question them. I'll make note of it on here if I receive a receipt for my 2nd order.

I bought Toshiba extended warranty one time a few years back. They never sent me anything so I contacted them and said not to worry. Then when I needed it they claimed to have no record of my purchase. I had to dig through tons of paper to find the Visa statement as proof. What a bunch of dirty rotten scoundrels. I wont ever buy from Toshiba again unless its a huge discount, and never the extended warranty again. Of course they blamed me for "losing my receipt" which I never got.

Hey Phillbspeed, if you'd like, we can email you a pdf of the receipt, feel free to contact us :)

We normally do digital copies since it is faster and cheaper of course, but we can mail one out to you too.

Hmmm... Do I detect people trying to count off business expenses at year end? (honestly, that was pretty much the whole reason I bought right now). It's like getting the laptop for 30% off!
