Hi guys I've just received it and it is exceeding all my high expectations.

Review to come soon with pics

I need some help with something though.

I have a pair of bose quiet comfort 2's which i use to listen to everything, they worked perfectly on my old PC....but I'm getting a horrible hissing sound in them, and I'm not sure how to rid of it.

Also the built in camera is not getting recognised, insead I get a message saying"sorry ou have no D-max video capture hardware"

Any help with either of these?

    Thanks

Edit: fixed the headphone issue, just need help with the cam.

With the camera you have to turn it on. Press fn and f10.

    My 9262 temps at idle are GPU(9800GT): 41C, CPU(E8500): 48C.
When gaming my GPU temp never gets above 70C with normal fan and drops about 15C to 55C with fan toggled to high.

The Fn + F10 key toggles the camera on and off.

as for the hissing sound, i have the same problem with my 9262... the realtek integrated aren't the best... i would suggest getting the creative x-fi notebook express if you would like to upgrade

    EDIT:
    could you elaborate a little?

There is a switch on my boss headphones " hi or low"...changed to low, exactly the same sound quality but without the hissing.

I have 2 9800GTX's and a q9650 (with the sli enabled) so i guess the higher idle temps are acceptable?

hi justice i also have the Bose QC2 and yes the hissing sound is there too. but i set it up to HI as opposed to low as i feel that there is not enough sound power coming out of the speaks. each to their own i guess

Yeah I prefer high too, but I couldn't take the hissing sound that I was getting.

On a sidenote 14284 marks on 3d mark 06 - how would you rate this with my system? good, bad, average?

    Oh thanks, that's encouraging.

I have a new problem now:

When the screen is on and there is a very dark/black image I can just about see quite a large white cloud on the left of my screen.

If I look at the cloud from a 45 degree angle it's even clearer

It's fine when there is no dark image, I can't see this cloud.

Anyone heard of this before, does it get worse with time, and should/can i get it repaired.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Justice,

I also have a light leakage that looks like a cloud on my screen (bottom left), don't think there is anything we can do about it...
Apart from that, how is you screen... colors quality, any dead or stuck pixels???
