I have a P750ZM that has/had a 4790k processor, 980m, 32gb 2133 Corsair Vengeance RAM, xp941 512GB drive, a 1tb and 2TB HD in it. It has the Samsung 4k screen on it. It recently died and I MIGHT have it repaired.
I have decided to wait to buy a new laptop for after the 1080 card becomes available for laptops. For the time being and to have a working system, I am buying a friend's P770ZM-G. It has a 4790, 16gb 1600 RAM, 1TB HD, 970M and the G-sync screen.
If I get both systems running again, would you move hardware between systems or would you leave them as is? If I don't fix the 750, I will move the better hardware from it to the 770. Your thoughts?

I'd certainly have the SSD in my primary system along with 980M.

Yeah, might as well take a little time and put the best parts together. Then you could have one system with full performance and another good system (if you get everything running on it). Or try selling out the parts from the system you aren't using to get some money back there possibly.

You might loose G-sync with the 980M is the only concern depending on the type of card.
Recommendations if I should change setups
