    Recommended 8800M GTX drivers for Vista x64 (Ultimate SP1) and XP SP3

    Hi guys,

    I recently received my first laptop computer - a Sager NP5793 - after many months of research. I purchased it through XoticPC as many other people on this forum :D. The system specs are in my signature below.

    I am currently dual booting XP SP3 and Vista Ultimate x64 SP1, with Vista being my primary OS while XP I will use only occasionally. What video drivers do you suggest I should install for each OS (and where I should download them from)? Additionally, are there any downsides to using modded drivers from LaptopVideo2Go?

    Hi,

    I can recommend you 174.90 for Vista 64bit it works great on my M570RU. Download this from laptopvideo2go or Clevo site in download section for M570TU. I tryed also 175.80 lately but it did't work good for me. Score in 3D Mark06 was down by 350points and performance in Crysis also down. I don't about XP because I'm not usisng this system any more. Good luck! o yeah have same spec. like you so you should get around 9200 3dmarks 06 and 10200 if you overclock 600 1500 900.
