    Hey all,

    A bit out of step with modern business but I just need some recommendations, in trade for some brownie points. Still using the M860TU to fill you in so that's what it needs to be compatible with. The DVD drive laser is into its final days but rather than just ordering a replacement from Clevo as usual an alternative is being questioned. Can anyone suggest a model number/brand that's much more reliable and not likely to give out after a years' heavy use?

    No external drives thanks.

    I don't know what drive Clevo use, but IMO they're all about the same. No one brand that I know of is of lesser quality than the rests.
